In this mix is “Sailin’ Shoes” - Robert Palmer, Lowell George, and the Funky Meters teaming up in early 70s New Orleans to record a version of the Little Feat classic. One of many treasures from Robert Palmer’s eclectic output from ’74-‘80. I grew up in New England in the 80s and among the music mix at our high school parties was my buddies cassette of “Sneakin’ Sally Through The Alley”. A funky favorite then and now.
